WordZe - The New Keyword Research Tool on the Block

by Martin Neumann on November 13, 2006

Researching keywords is one important aspect at the beginning of an information entrepreneur’s new product development.

You may have done the basic research, checked out the forums and found a niche target audience with a clear want. Now you want to run it through search engines and keyword research tools to find out the numbers - for example, how many times the keyword or keyword phrase is searched for. It’s an important step along the way to realizing if your product idea will go ahead or be shelved.

So with keyword research tools in mind, along comes WordZe.

From the WordZe About page…

Wordze is a keyword research tool that is designed to give users the ability to dig deep into the keyword universe that people search for everyday on search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN Search, and AOL.

The tools that Wordze provides do more then just give users a general idea of how often a keyword is being search for, they also allow the user to track daily trends as keywords or industries fall and rise in popularity due to seasons or events in the news.

Wordze allow users to really get to know their own industry and other industries that they are looking to provide services for, but don’t know how much work or marketing it will take to become an industry leader.

I took a sneak at the tour they’re offering and with their Dashboard like central page you have access to numerous tools. I was impressed with what’s on offer and how deep and detailed you can get into researching keywords.

Go and take a look at the tour…

The service is not free and there are two options: a 1 Day Trial for $7.95 or a monthly membership of $35 - note that the normal price is $45 but they state that if you subscribe during this special period you will be only ever charged that lower fee for the life of your subscription.

My recommendation would be to go for the 1 day trial, unless, of course, you’re a serious (or serial) info product developer. Most information entrepreneurs usually work on one product at a time so when an idea hits you, having the option of spending up to 24 hours at WordZe for only $7.95 is not a bad investment.

But as you become more seriously involved in this business full time access to such services might just give you that competitive edge.
