The Launch - The Day After
Many thanks to all those who gave me their good wishes for this venture - it’s much appreciated (some link leaking and link love is at the bottom of this post).
For what it’s worth, here are some numbers: 372 unique visitors and 43 subscribers.
I still have a few tweaks here and there with the design to do over the weekend so bare with me - nothing major just a few things that caught my eye.
I also decided to change my course of attack for the re-launch. Inititially, my plan was to really blitz this thing to death. Imagine: press releases, doing some major link baiting and other related guerilla marketing techniques.
But … I thought screw it! Lets go down the slow, organic road for launch and growth. One of the reasons? information publishers already get a bad rap with their cheesy sales techniques (and rightly so in many instances) and the whole reason behind ePublishingDaily is to try to bring some quality back … to change perceptions.
So it’s slow and steady.
Finally, I was somewhat surprised (and more than excited) by the number of people who contacted me saying they have plans for an eBook or are wanting to head in that direction.
I’ll start posting over the weekend.

“the whole reason behind ePublishingDaily is to try to bring some quality back … to change perceptions” - right up my alley - I can’t wait to see what you do.
