The idea behind ePublishingDaily is that I talk about creating and marketing your own information products. Big deal, many do! Hundreds upon hundreds of articles over at Ezine Articles can attest to that.

But my point of difference (I’m hoping) is that I’m doing it all from, and for, a bloggers perspective. So in other words, I’m writing about getting bloggers, you and me, to create and sell our very own information products - be they eBooks, audio products, or video goodies.

With that in mind, quite possibly my primary goal of marketing said products is via your very own blog. It makes perfect sense: you already are a blogger and you feel comfortable with blogging … now you’ll be using blogging as a marketing tool.

So now it’s time to get serious.

In an over-saturated market of info products you really do have to over deliver today. Give your prospects more than ever before should be your motto. Over deliver with your actual products AND over deliver in your marketing. Give the prospect all the tools needed for them to mentally tick of any objections (and they’ll have objections) to buying your product.

Now have you thought about video. Wouldn’t a nice little video placed on your blog that delivers something of value be over delivering. You bet it would!

Great stuff. And yes, as Michael explains, you can go with YouTube or other like sites but for the total control freak in you, this is the way to go.

So what do you include in your video? Whatever the customer wants. Whatever it takes to help the prospect along the path to eventual paying customer.
