Introducing Jeff Smith and Some Niches to Look at

by Martin Neumann on August 16, 2006

Jeff Smith is a fairly big name in the information products publishing industry. He’s well-respected and has been around the block a few times.

He now runs the Information Marketer’s Zone (aff) subscription site and from the internet grapevine I’ve heard it’s a wonderful resource filled with all sorts of goodies for the budding information product publisher.

Jeff Smith also writes at his HigherTrustMarketing Blog and his most recent post - Greatest Infoproduct Entrepreneur Niche markets captured my interest.

Many cynics out there think that the only way to make money in this industry is with internet marketing related products (eg: infoproducts that tells you how to make infoproducts, for example).

Not so says Jeff. And I back him 100% … and from experience too.

Jeff lets out a broad group of niches that do very well with information products. They are:

  • Health and Wellness
  • Small business
  • Real estate
  • Alternative health
  • Music

Remember, as Jeff states, that within those broad niches there lies many, many smaller niches where an info
product could work well.
