How to Write an eBook
PromotionWorld.com has an insightful article - How to Write an eBook - with four points of interest…
- Does your book present useful information and is that information currently relevant?
- Will your book positively affect the lives of your readers?
- Is your book dynamic and will it keep the reader’s attention?
- Does you book answer questions that are meaningful and significant?
Along with such useful tips, one of the best pieces of advice that I’ve learnt along the way is … you can’t be everything to everybody. I’ve seen many struggle with this aspect. They begin to “talk down” their ebook idea because it seems to them to be too bland … not enough scope … too lightweight.
But what’s lightweight for you may be something really heavy to another (and another and another … ie: your target audience).
I know when I first started my adventures in information publishing I had the same mindset. Will people buy this? It seems so simple to me. Surely this highly niche topic won’t be of interest to anybody? And time and again I’ve been proven wrong - people want relevant information that will answer their wants in a dynamic fashion. Give what your reader wants and you’ll have a successful e-publishing career for years to come.
The tips from the article are basically all from ‘eBook 101′ but you can never go wrong being told again. A good little read - How to Write an eBook.
