eBook Template Pack Coming Soon

by Martin Neumann on July 2, 2006

TemplateBanner3.gifIn a earlier post I let the cat out of the bag of my intentions to develop and release a set of eBook templates.

Well I can gladly announce that Yep, I will be releasing the … wait for it! … ePublishingDaily’s eBook Template Pack #1 on July 15.

There will be 20 designs which I’m polishing up now - the only caveat is that they have been designed in MS Word 2003.

I know many of you use OpenOffice or MS Publisher, or even PageMaker, but at this stage MS Office it is. Sorry.

I will endeavour to play with designs for MS Publisher (which is a tool I really like) and I might have a go at PageMaker (which is a bitch to use - pardon my French). With OpenOffice I’ll be testing whether the designs are compatible with MS Word - but this is all in the future. For now let’s keep it simple (stupid!) - 20 eBook Design in MS Word format.

On a side note, I’d be interested to see how OpenOffice users go with it.

And finally, best of all … it’s Free!

I’ve been waiting for these puppies !

I use an older version of Word, but if they don’t work with it, I’ll go buy the newest version.

I’m all jacked up about doing some easy-to-do ebookin’ with these dudes and give you some credit and PR.

Sorry guys for the lateness - it’s winter here and it’s smacking me around a bit.

Mike - 90% done - now I’m just polishing them up and testing.

You’ve been really enthused about this haven’t you - so if I can please you with them then I’ll know I’ve done something good.

Liz - Maybe just maybe, I’ll use one of them and finally get your eBook done, eh.

    Martin,
Whenever you’re ready I’m ready to move things on my sidebar and start selling. I appreciate that you’ve been busy. I’m working hard. I know what that’s like. :)
