Create your own Software eCover - Tutorial

by Martin Neumann on April 19, 2007

Have you ever wanted to create one of those virtual software boxes for your e-product?

It’s been proven that even though you’re selling a virtual product (ie: you will be holding nothing in your hands upon delivery) having an eCover that represents the product gives it that extra edge.

Creating a Software Box with Photoshop is an easy tutorial coming from (wait for it …) TutorialBlog. :-)

I’m no design superstar but I can (just) get around Photoshop and in an hour or so I created what I thought was a nifty little virtual cover for one of my upcoming information products.

If you’re confident in your design skills then I’d say go for it - but be warned: a virtual cover that’s butt ugly will do your sales more damage than good - so if you’re design-challenged to the extremes then I’d suggest getting in a professional it’s well worth the money spent.
