When will you ship my eBook and other nonsense e-publishers go through
An interesting post by Aaron Wall, famous for his SEOBook and blog where he discusses some of the pitfalls he has encountered through his successful ebook and blog that promotes it.
6 Reasons I Shouldn’t Blog (and Sell an ebook) really offers an amazing insight into some of the dredges of society - stealing, expecting to resell his ebook, doing the old chargeback thing.
Number two made me laugh…
My sales letter states clearly that my ebook is an ebook. And my mini sales letter says available for your immediate download. Yet daily I get asked when it will ship.
When you enter the information publishing business these are just some of the many things you have to deal with. Gladly, it’s only a small percentage of society that makes life crap. The vast majority makes it all worth while.
The greedy dredges of society that go after those who are successful really get my blood boiling - you just have to deal with it. It’s mostly BS and it can drag you down but that’s the price of success.

Note: I have a copy of Aaron’s SEOBook which I am reviewing more for it’s layout and design rather than it’s content (although I must say it’s an intriguing read … and it’s not all about SEO)

I get that too. Don’t people know what an ebook is? Or perhaps they don’t actually read the bit that says about ‘downloading’.
